Social Networking

Untitled 2

In today’s information and digital age, everyone is connecting through social media such as:

MySpace
Facebook
Twitter
Other local social sites per country

Does it work for network marketing? Absolutely, I have built internationally using social sites to pre-book my appointments and to let people know that I am coming to their city specifically for business. If you don’t have the time or resources to leave town then hopefully your company has online web conference where you can do a power point presentation and still be able to see the person face to face. It’s as if you’re having coffee with them in person except it’s all online and your really being productive with your time because you can be doing an international meeting. For example, I have been able to sponsor people in Japan even though I am physically in Vancouver. Then I plug them into the system and train them through Microsoft live meeting web conferencing. Once they’re trained and independently producing their own sales and growing their business, you are now making money while you drool on your pillow if you’re based in North America.

If you are serious about building a large distribution business, then I highly recommend that you utilize some of the social sites mentioned earlier so you can work smarter, instead of harder. One more tip, inviting a group of contacts to one of your group events saves you time from calling each person individually. However, confirming by phone is still my preferred choice for setting appointments because there is more commitment required by your prospect instead of just digital invitations.
